ABOUT JEN

A leader. An encourager. A driver. A mother. A wife. Most of all, a daughter of the King.

I’m Jen Malhotra — a fractional Chief Revenue Officer, an independent technology and AI advisor, and a faith-based performance coach for women. Twenty-five years of different businesses sits behind all three. Sales. Consulting. Partnership building. The joy of ministry and fundraising work. I have led teams and I have been a solo contributor, and now I get to stand at the crossroads, advising companies, individuals, and high-performing leaders. But my greatest and highest calling is pointing others toward Jesus in all they do.

WHY ME

I have stood where you are standing

Twenty-five years of building. A career that took turns I did not plan, for aging parents and for the twins we waited years to have. Fifty-seven pounds lost before I turned fifty, in the middle of everything else.

I am not going to hand you theory. What I have is a real, tangible example of what God’s grace looks like in an actual woman’s life when she chooses obedience — including the long stretches when obedience looked like waiting.

A pause is not a stop forever. I am not saying that to be encouraging. I am saying it because I have done it more than once.

There is a great deal more to the story, and it is worth your time. If you would like to talk, start with a complimentary 30-minute call, or email me directly at jmalhotra@mightywaves.org.

HER STORY

Boldly direct. Deeply faithful.

I absolutely love being a mama. Being Bella and Luke’s mom is my greatest adventure, and building this life beside Vin is a gift from God. More than either is my love for the Lord and making sure it shows in how I parent them and how I love Vin well.

As a businesswoman I am boldly direct. Authentic. I will tell you the truth, and I will tell it kindly, but I am not going to manage you or talk around it. I have built thriving consulting practices from close to nothing, carried quota at Big Four consulting and Big Tech, and exceeded it every time, led teams of eighty-plus, and raised money for causes I love. I am good at what I do. I am even better at helping unlock that same power in others. Why? Because the power to motivate and encourage is at my core.

Mighty Waves exists to help women draw close to God, feel the power of His agape love, and boldly claim everything He has in store for them. That is the whole mission.

Mighty Waves began as coaching for women. But I have also spent my career sitting as an executive at Big Four consulting and Big Tech. I have built practices, led large teams, and watched what separates a company that scales from one that stalls. That experience matters. Organizations need help with CRM selection and implementation, partner strategy, go-to-market decisions, and growth architecture. I know how to navigate those choices. That is why the advisory work exists — to bring that same directness and business acumen to the decisions that move the needle for your company.

WELLNESS AND FITNESS

Faithfully stewarding the body I was given

I lost fifty-seven pounds before turning fifty, and what it unleashed was freedom. Here is what happens, and you already know it. You get busy. You care for your family, your job, your career, and everybody who needs something. And your own health goes on the back burner, quietly, for years. That was my story, not a case study.

The weight I carried was never really about food. It was grief. It was stress I would not name. It was a decade of putting myself last and calling it devotion. No plan on earth works until you are willing to look at that part first.

Turning fifty was the hinge. I spent the past year doing the actual work, including countless hours of research and a lot of digging down deep into things I had been avoiding. So I listened to all the podcasts, followed all the thought leaders, and spent a great deal of time in intentional prayer about how I wanted to reshape the next decade I was blessed to be entering. Fifty-seven pounds came off. But the number is not the headline, and I will not let it be yours either.

What it unleashed was freedom. Confidence. Capacity I had forgotten I was supposed to have.

And I did it through perimenopause and menopause, which is the part I most want you to hear. Nobody hands you a manual. The strategies that carried me for twenty years simply stopped working, and for a while I thought the problem was me. It was not. It was a body doing exactly what it was designed to do, in a season nobody had described to me honestly.

I also want to say the part most wellness talk leaves out. This is biblical. Scripture calls our bodies a temple of the Holy Spirit and tells us to honor God with them. Caring for yours is not vanity and it is not self-indulgence. It is obedience, and it is stewardship of something you were given and do not actually own.

“Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit… You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.” — 1 Corinthians 6:19–20, NIV

Strength training

Lifting, properly and consistently. In midlife this is not vanity. It is bone, metabolism, and staying capable for the next forty years. It is the single change that gave me the most back. I did CrossFit right after the twins were born, but a back injury and knees worn down by years of marathon running gave in, and the weights stopped. I have rediscovered them, and the love affair is real.

Movement

There is no magic number of steps. I aim for ten thousand at a minimum, but mostly it is just moving my body, and I have found my sweet spot is fifteen to twenty thousand. Small tricks, like ten squats every hour no matter where I am. Push-ups that are finally not on my knees — five sets of ten, because this is the year of fifty — yes, really. And working on my core so I stand tall and proud. I start the morning with flow and a ruck, twenty pounds on my back, which I affectionately call my gratitude rucks. They make the whole day run better.

Nutrition

Enough protein, actual meals, and no plan built on shame or deprivation. I am feeding a woman with a job and a family, not auditioning for anything. I am eating more fiber than ever before, and I have become a full-blown supplement research junkie. Bring on the collagen and the magnesium, you name it. And thank you, God, for progesterone. Can I get an Amen?

Sleep

The one I resisted longest and the one that changed the most. I used to treat sleep as the flexible item in the budget. It is not. Everything else fails without it.

If you are somewhere in this yourself — the sleep that broke, the weight that moved and would not move back, the mood you do not recognize, the sense that your body changed the terms without telling you — you are not imagining it and you are not failing. You need information and a plan, not more discipline. I will not hand you a diet. I will show you what I actually did.

I want to be a real, tangible example of a woman who takes care of herself. Not an edited one. Not a before-and-after. A woman who decided her body was worth stewarding and then went and did it, at fifty, in the middle of everything else.

MIGHTY IN THE MAKING

Experiencing the joy in a Mighty Wave

A few things I am building, so you can keep company with me between sessions.

IN THE WORKS — STAY TUNED!

Mighty Missions

The closeness of a retreat with the heart of service running all the way through it — one week on the mission field alongside ministry partners I have loved and trusted for years. The days belong to the work: real hands, real feet, a real place that needed us before we arrived. The evenings belong to the Word. Not a conference in a ballroom, and not a holiday with a devotional bolted onto the front. A week that costs you something and hands you back more than it took.

Mighty Minutes

One scripture, one honest word, under two minutes. A verse that is carrying me and the plain truth I would tell you if you were sitting across from me. Weekly, by email.

Mighty Moments

A running record of where I have seen God at work. The timing that was not coincidence. The door that closed and the better one nobody could have planned. Not polished. Just noticed.

Mighty Blog

Intentional longer writing — not mandated by a content calendar, but teachings that are God inspired. Relaunching, leadership, the gray areas, and what I am learning about caring for a body at fifty.

Mighty Wellness

All the nutrition lessons and what has stuck. The supplements, the training, the books. Only things I use myself and would recommend to a friend.

Mighty Missions for your company

Imagine a week off the grid with your team. Building a house. Digging the trench. Teaching a life-skills class in Africa. Drilling a well that gives a village clean water for the first time. Many companies, technology companies especially, already offer VTO — Volunteer Time Off — and most of it goes unused. Hire me to build it with you: I will help you choose the right international mission partner from the ministries I have known and trusted for years, design the experience end to end, and walk through it beside your team. This is the Gospel with its sleeves rolled up.

Mighty Community

An online gathering of women leaders who learn from one another. The best of a mastermind class — sharp questions, real accountability, women who have actually done the thing — brought into the intimacy and fellowship of a discipleship group. Sharpening, not networking.

SCRIPTURE ANCHORS

Seven of my anchor verses through every wave

An anchor is not decoration. You do not notice it until the water turns. These seven — all English Standard Version — have held me through the years of waiting, through the seasons that looked like a step back, and through every stretch I could not see the end of.

When the water turns, what anchors you?

Philippians 4:11–13

“I have learned, in whatever situation I am, to be content… I can do all things through him who strengthens me.”

Ephesians 3:20

“Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us…”

Genesis 2:24

“Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.”

2 Timothy 1:7

“For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.”

1 Peter 3:8

“Finally, all of you, have unity of mind, sympathy, brotherly love, a tender heart, and a humble mind.”

1 Corinthians 13:4–8

“Love is patient and kind… Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends.”

2 Corinthians 12:9

“My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”
